Gamma Eta's Fall Highway Cleanup

Gamma Eta has been very busy in the community so far this semester! Over 30 brothers and rushees turned out on a crisp fall Montanan day to participate in our fall highway cleanup. Donned in neon orange vests, twice a year brothers get together and spend an afternoon picking up garbage on our designated stretch.

This year we spent about an hour cleaning the community along 6 blocks of road near one of the Missoula's High Schools. Our new pledges were very enthusiastic volunteers; in fact it was one of the biggest turnouts we've ever had. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to bond, pledges especially the opportunity to get to know each other and the current brothers.

Over 5 large bags of trash were filled, making the streets that much more clean. Highway cleanup is just one great example of how Gamma Eta continually gives back to the wonderful community of Missoula, Montana. We are looking forward to many more opportunities to give back and can't wait to share those events with all of you!

Brianna & Casey
