Epsilon Xi Volunteers at the Oregon Food Bank

Brothers of Epsilon Xi and our current pledge class spent some time giving back to the community by volunteering at the Oregon Food Bank for the second year in a row.  This was a community service project organized by our current pledge class, which has shown a lot of motivation to become involved with Kappa Psi.  The Oregon Food Bank helps provide emergency food to people statewide, and helps increase resources for hungry families.  In just the few hours that we were there volunteering, our chapter was able to pack enough food for 8,050 meals.  Not only did this experience serve as a great way to give back to the community, it also was a fun way for us to get to know our pledges more outside of the school environment.  We are so lucky to have such a great pledge class this year and look forward to participating in many more events to bring our chapter closer together.
